It looks like Samsung is off to a bit shaky start in 2021 when it comes to software updates. According to a new report by Galaxyclub.nl, Samsung users are encountering their OS first bug of the year with OneUI 3 that the firm rolled out recently. The bug is not annoying or major, but something that still hides information. The report states that since the date change, several people supporting Samsung phones with Android 11 based OneUI 3 are not able to see the battery statistics in Device Maintenance section under Settings.

This issue has been seen on some Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 10 handsets. It’s worth adding that Galaxy Note 10 is the latest to get OneUI 3. It has been mentioned that when you choose the Battery section in the Device Maintenance tab, the UI will no longer show the familiar graphs of the battery charge. It won't show the last charging cycle and the average battery consumption over the last seven days as well.

Nonetheless, the standard remaining battery percentage indicator and the number of remaining hours stay visible. Samsung has not yet addressed the bug. However, we soon expect the company to roll out a new maintenance update to fix this minor yet rather interesting bug.

It’s worth adding that besides new features and enhancements, OneUI 3 is also said to feature December security update. Interestingly, while the Korean giant has started rolling out the One UI 3.0 update to its premium smartphone, it has also started including its budget smartphones into its One UI 3.0 beta program. And the latest smartphones to enter this program are the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy M31.
