Samsung’s first smartphone launch of 2021 could take place next week. Samsung is reportedly planning to launch the Galaxy M02s budget smartphone in India. This smartphone will be priced under ₹10,000.
Samsung hasn’t announced the launch of Galaxy M02s yet but its details were revealed in a report by IANS. Galaxy M02s will feature a 6.5-inch display, and it will pack a massive 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor, the report added. Samsung is also said to launch the Galaxy M02s in two storage variants of 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.
The launch date for Galaxy M02s hasn’t been specified yet but it will make its debut next week. The report also revealed that the Galaxy M02s will be available on Amazon India. Samsung had been rumoured of launching ‘Galaxy M02’ in India. This smartphone was listed on Samsung India’s support page, and it had been spotted on certification sites as well. Galaxy M02 was listed on Geekbench as well, and with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, an octa-core Qualcomm processor, and Android.
The rumoured Galaxy M02 is most likely the Galaxy M02s that had been due to launch in India for quite some time. Galaxy M02s is expected to be an upgrade over the Galaxy M01 that’s available in India for ₹7,999. Galaxy M01 comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display, dual rear cameras, a 4,000mAh battery, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
