Vivo Y51A launched in India, priced at ₹17,990

Vivo on Monday announced the launch of a new handset in India. Called Vivo Y51A, the smartphone is priced at ₹17,990. The Vivo Y51A is available for purchase in two colour options— Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony on

vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, and across all partner retail stores.

The smartphone measures 163.86×75.32×8.38mm and weighs 188 grams. It comes with a 6.58-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display.

It runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11. For performance, the handset relies upon Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The phone comes with 128GB storage. It also has a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 1TB. A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone. It comes with an 18W fast charging support.

In the photography department, Vivo Y51A offers a combination of 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel sensors on the back. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

“The rear camera also offers Ultra-Stable video with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) technology that aligns individual frames and automatically corrects unstable movements. It also has Super Night Camera capabilities for both front and rear which reduces the noise and capture beautiful shades of night even in low light. The triple camera setup also lets you take wider shots with wide-angle lens and close-up macro shots with the dedicated macro lens,” said the company in a release.

Other important features of the phone are Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and OTG support.
