ALERT! These Windows 10 features will not make it to Windows 11!
With the launch of Windows 11, Microsoft removed some very essential and widely used features on Windows 10, such as the drag and drop feature and the ability to shift the taskbar to the sides or the top. Sadly, Microsoft has announced it will bring back only a few of them. Read more to find out.

According to Windows Latest, In a recent Windows Insider webcast, Windows 11 development team has confirmed it is bringing back some of these features in the upcoming Windows updates. The drag and drop functionality will return with the Windows 11 version 22H2. (Amritanshu Mukherjee / HT Tech)

However, the ability to change the taskbar’s position won’t be available anytime soon because the current design or animation flow of the Start menu isn’t ready yet. Since not many people use the taskbar on the left or the right, this feature wasn't added in the original build of Windows 11 and Microsoft is currently prioritizing other features. (HT_PRINT)

Microsoft’s current objective is to enhance and improve its most popular features such as the drag and drop feature, tablet optimization and overflow icons, therefore the ability to change taskbar position isn’t expected anytime soon. (Microsoft)
