Vi launches prepaid, postpaid plans with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription

Vi (Vodafone Idea) on Wednesday announced it will offer customers 1 year of access to Disney+ Hotstar. Vi prepaid users get three new unlimited recharge plans including one data only plan with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. Vi postpaid users can get access to the streaming service on plans starting at ₹499. The offer also comes just in time for the upcoming IPL cricket season.

The first Vi prepaid plan is priced at ₹401 and it comes with 28 days validity. This prepaid plan offers one year of Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, 100GB of 4G data with 3GB per day and 16GB extra, and unlimited calls. Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription is priced at ₹399 a year. In this tier, subscribers get access to movies and shows from Marvel Cinematic Universe, superhero movies and popular Disney movies like The Lion King and Frozen II in addition to the Hotstar VIP content.

Vi prepaid plan priced at ₹601 with 56 days validity brings the same offers but 200GB of 4G data. Then there’s the ₹801 prepaid plan that also has the same benefits including 300GB of 4G data. The data-only Vi recharge plan is priced at ₹501 and with this you get 75GB of 4G data, and one year of Disney+ Hotstar subscription.

Vi postpaid plans priced at ₹499 and above can get one year of Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription along with other existing benefits. These include unlimited voice, data, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Vi Movies and TV shows, and more. The benefits differ according to the plans.
