Step 1:
To unlock your locked Gmail account without password, sign in with your phone
In case you forgot your Gmail account password, you can use your phone number to sign-in. Gmail will send an OTP on your registered mobile number which you can validate to log in.
Step 2:
Use your recovery email ID/phone number
You can also choose to receive password/OTP details on the recovery email ID or phone number linked to the Gmail account. So, always make sure that the linked account is active.
In case you don't remember the recovery Gmail or phone number, you can check the same on Google account page under "Ways we can verify it’s you" tab.
Step 3:
Unlock your Android device to verify it’s you
All Android phones are linked to a Google account, hence you can send a login notification prompt to access your account and verify yourself. You can also use Google Authenticator app to confirm your logins by using a randomly generated number.
Step 4:
Try using the device/location you mostly use to sign in
You can sign in from the device (computer, laptop or PC), browser and location that you frequently use to sign in.
Step 5:
Login via answering the security question/questions
All of our email accounts were linked to secret security questions that helped unlock accounts. Google asks to set up a security question and answer while creating a Gmail account. If you don't have a recovery email ID or phone number linked, you can answer these security questions to login.
