MacBooks are premium laptops used around the world. They're especially popular among those in the Apple ecosystem due to their ease of use and cross functionality. Did you know there are certain keyboard shortcuts that can make your MacBook experience even more efficient? Listed below are the top 5 MacBook shortcuts that can help you.

1. Airdrop quick access- If you use Airdrop frequently to transfer files between your devices or to others, then you may know that it's a hassle. To do this quicker, hit Shift + Command + R keys at the desktop. It will straightaway take you to the Airdrop window.

2. Change brightness manually- Preset brightness levels on your MacBook might be too high or too low for you. The option to change brightness is fairly simple on MacBooks with a touchpad. But if you don't have the touchpad, then instead of heading for the control center, simply hit Option + Shift + Keyboard Brightness Up or Option + Shift + Keyboard Brightness Down to fine tune brightness to your liking.

3. Adjust Volume manually- Similarly, you can also adjust the volume manually. To do this, hit Option + Shift + Volume Up or Option + Shift + Volume Down. This will let you change volume in smaller levels for your perfect listening experience.

4. Lock your screen- Sometimes, when you're at your workplace and you have to leave your station for a while, you have to lock the screen through the on-screen options. You can do this faster by simply hitting Control + Command + Q, which will immediately lock your screen.

5. Quit all apps and shut down- Shutting down the system is the most laborious task. It requires you to quit all apps and then manually shut down. However, there's a faster way of doing this. Simply hit the Control + Option + Command + Power button. This will automatically quit all your apps and turn off the device. If you have any unsaved work, it will prompt you to save if you wish.
