Animal Crossing gets a slew of changes with the new New Horizons update, but bugs are a worry

Animal Crossing is getting the New Horizons update. It introduces several new changes. While there are plenty of bugs, we expect the company to release patches and fix them. With the update, you get new items and seasonal events with plenty of other additions. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons update that carries version number 1.11.0 brings some interesting changes to the game. However, you must be aware that this update has also removed a popular feature in Nook's Cranny.

There is a bug in Harv's Island that pertains to customization. While the chances of you encountering any issues are quite low, the bugs pop up every now and then. This bug prohibits the player from using certain items in their inventory. Moreover, the ability to visit and decorate Harv's Island is also facing issues, according to a report from SportsKeeda.

Furthermore, the Animal Crossing update introduces a change in DIY, which was first noticed by Crossing Channel on YouTube. The company is said to no longer allow players to carry treasure island recipes back to their islands because they're inaccessible. However, if you want, you can still learn the recipe if you are on these islands. Notably, you can’t bring them home. All other recipes are tradeable except for these ones.

The new Animal Crossing update brings a change to Nook’s Cranny as well. For the unaware, Nook's Cranny is a popular in-game location that is visited by most, if not all, players. A lot of players spend most of their time at this place. If you remember, there used to be a song that played prior to the shop closing. This song has been removed in the new Animal Crossing update. There used to be an orchestrated version of the Nook's Cranny theme that was played to alert players that the shop was closing soon. However, it has now been removed.
