In July, banks will remain closed for 8 days except for second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. However, net banking will remain operative. Check when and why banks will remain closed here.
As per the information provided by the RBI, the bank holidays in July fall under three categories- Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts. (REUTERS)

July 1, 2022: Banks will remain closed only in Bhubaneswar and Imphal due to the occasion of Kang (Rathajatra)/Ratha Yatra. On July 9, banks will remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on July 9 due to the occasion of ld-Ul-Ad'ha (Bakrid). While on July 7 banking operations will remain shut only in Agartala due to Kharchi Puja. (Reuters)
