We all are more obsessed with our iPhones than ourselves these days and the CEO of the company that makes these addictive devices thinks it is not right.
At the Time 100 Summit, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he doesn't want people to be glued to their iPhones, Fast Company reported. He stressed that if anyone is looking into a phone more than into someone's eyes, then you're doing it wrong.
"Apple never wanted to maximize user time. We've never been about that. We're not motivated to do that from a business point of view, and we're certainly not motivated from a values point of view," Fast Company quoted Cook as saying.
Cook also called for regularisation of technology companies by the government. The Apple CEO took the example of EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) data privacy rules in Europe. Cook however clarified that tech companies shouldn't go overboard with dependance on the government.
