Honor launches new smartwatches, MagicBook laptop and more at IFA 2020

Honor has launched a bunch of products at the IFA 2020 conference today. The Huawei sub-brand has introduced Honor Watch GS Pro, Honor Watch ES and Honor MagicBook Pro. The company also announced processor upgrades for the existing MagicBook 14 and 15 and Honor Pad 6.

The Watch GS Pro has a rugged build and is meant for those who are travelling and are mostly outdoors. The highlight here is the 25-day battery life and the 14 MIL-STD-810G certified build. Honor says the wearable has a built-in dual satellite positioning system and a route back function alongside a route deviation alert. It is claimed to feature more than 100 workout modes and workout data recording including mountain climbing, hiking, skiing, indoor and outdoor running and free training. There are health and well-being features as well. This will be made available from September 7 in global markets.

The Honor Watch ES is for fashion-forward fitness enthusiasts. It has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display along with 95 workout modes, 12 animated workout courses with specific scenarios such as fat burn, abs workout along with some health and fitness tracking capabilities. This will be coming to the markets starting September 21.

The Honor MagicBook Pro runs Windows 10 and is meant for creative professionals. Sporting AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor with integrated Radeon GPU, the laptop has 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage drive and 16GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM. There is a 16.1-inch FullView display as well along with 100% sRGB color gamut.

The firm says that Honor MagicBook Pro (16+512GB) will be available from 7th September. In addition the AMD refresh of the Honor MagicBook 14 and 15 includes Ryzen 5 4500U processors. MagicBook 14 (8+512GB) with AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor will be made available from 21st September in global markets.

Honor Pad 6 features a 10.1-inch Full HD display and symmetrical 1620 high-amplitude dual speakers. It is boasted for 460g lightweight and 7.55mm thickness.
