SanDisk 1TB pendrive for USB Type-C smartphones launched in India: Check price, specs

Western Digital has launched a new 1TB pendrive in India under its SanDisk brand. The SanDisk Dual Drive Luxe pendrive is for USB Type-C smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.

The new SanDisk pendrive will be available first via Amazon India on July 4. It will later go on sale via e-tailers and retailers across India. It’s available for pre-orders now on Amazon with an instant discount of ₹650 as Amazon coupons. This discount is however only on the 1TB variant of the SanDisk pendrive.

The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive 1TB pendrive is priced at ₹13,529. It comes in more storage variants of 32GB ( ₹849), 64GB ( ₹1,179), 128GB ( ₹1,869), 256GB ( ₹3,249) and 512GB ( ₹6,449).

The pendrive is silver in colour with a metal body and a swivel design. It comes with a preloaded SanDisk Memory Zone app for content management. This app helps organise content from different devices like phones, microSD cards, or even the cloud, all in one view. The app also backs up media like photos, videos, contacts, and social media accounts.

Smartphones will need to have On-The-Go (OTG) support to use this pendrive. You can check if your phone is compatible here. The SanDisk pendrive is equipped with USB 3.1 Gen 1 for fast data transfer and is claimed to offer a read speed of up to 150MB/s.
