Innersloth's Among Us achieved a new milestone as the most downloaded mobile game in 2020. Among Us has managed to beat popular titles such as PUBG Mobile, Roblox and Call of Duty: Mobile.

Among Us garnered 264 million downloads globally, according to data from Apptopia. It was also the most downloaded mobile game in the US with 41 million downloads. Apptopia collects data from Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. The latest milestone comes shortly after Among Us clocked in half a billion players in November last year. This was the highest ever monthly player achieved by any mobile game, according to SuperData.

Among Us was also the most downloaded game globally in November, according to Sensor Tower. It also bagged the best multiplayer and mobile game awards at The Game Awards 2020. The multiplayer mobile game was a pandemic hit with the developers even scrapping plans for Among Us 2 to focus on the first version.

Among Us is also expanding to more platforms after launching recently on Nintendo Switch. Among Us will come to Xbox consoles this year, and it will be available through the Xbox Game Pass Service.

Innersloth is now working on a new map for Among Us that's set to release early this year. The new Among Us map is called “The Airship” and it will feature new tasks, ladders and elevators an new animations as well. The AirShip will also let players continue from different locations after emergency meetings. Innersloth is yet to announce a launch date for the new Among Us map.
