Among Us is coming to Xbox consoles in 2021

After launching on Nintendo Switch, Among Us is now coming to Xbox consoles.

Among Us is one of the breakthrough games of 2020. The popular multiplayer game just launched for the Nintendo Switch, and it is now coming to Xbox consoles in 2021. Among Us will be available through the Xbox Game Pass service.

Among Us will be available on the new Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Xbox One. It will launch in 2021 but a launch date hasn't been announced yet. The announcement was made by Xbox and Among Us on Twitter. Microsoft also added the news in its blog for the Xbox Game Pass PC.

“One of the biggest gaming hits of 2020 is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC, as we're excited to announce that InnerSloth's Among Us will be coming to the service soon,” Microsoft said in its blog.

With support for Xbox, Among Us is now available on Android, iOS, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox. There's no word on when Among Us will launch for the PS4 and PS5. Among Us had a great year as people started playing the multiplayer game during the pandemic-driven lockdowns globally. Among Us also won the best multiplayer and mobile game at The Game Awards 2020.

Among Us is also slated to launch a new map called ‘The Airship' in early 2021. The new Among Us map will also feature new tasks along with ladders and elevators. Among Us developers Innersloth had plans for a second version of the game but it is no longer pursuing it. 2020 was great for Among Us, and it looks like a bigger year ahead for the multiplayer game.
