Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 1, 2022 gave a New Year gift to the farmers of the country by releasing the 10th installment of financial benefit under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. As per the information an amount of more than ₹20,000 crore has been transferred to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families. During the event on Saturday, PM Modi also released equity grant of more than ₹14 crore to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 1.24 lakh farmers. All those beneficiaries who have not checked their PM Kisan 10th installment status can do so now as the feature is available online.

It can be noted that under the PM KISAN scheme, a financial benefit of ₹6000 per year is provided to the eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal 4-monthly installments of ₹2000 each. The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The PM Kisan installment scheme provides income support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs.

Farmers who are eligible for the scheme can check if they have received the amount online by visiting PM Kisan official website or by downloading the PM Kisan Application on their smartphone.

How to check PM Kisan 10th installment status via mobile app:

Step 1: To check the status via PM Kisan Mobile Application you will first have to download the App. For that go to the official website of PM Kisan or click on the link- https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2: From the Farmers Corner available on the right side of the homepage click on 'Download PMKISAN Mobile App'. However, You can also directly go to the Google Play store on your Android device and type PM Kisan App and can download it from there as well.

Step 3: Similar to the official website, using the PM Kisan Mobile Application, beneficiaries can register themselves, know the status about their registration and payments, correct name as per Aadhaar, know about the scheme and can dial helpline numbers.

Step 1: Visit PM Kisan Samman Nidhi official website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab present on the home page.

Step 3: Select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'. And you are done as your screen will display your PM Kisan status.
