Analysts: Apple poised for success with watch

Analysts say Apple has delivered a strong product in the Apple Watch and expect sales to be robust given its track record and marketing power. Battery life has been a major concern coming into this launch, said Engadget Editor-in-Chief Michael Gorman. 'They're claiming it's going to get 18 hours, which is more than I actually expected, but certainly not as much as I had wanted, so we'll really have to see if that 18 hour number proves to be how much it really lasts.' Industry watchers are eager to see if Apple's version will be the tipping point for the sluggish smartwatch market. 'The design of it is so much better than anything else on the market today,' said Tim Bajarin, president of Creative Strategies.
