Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur have been rested for the fixture. Rohit Sharma will be taking on the captain’s armband as Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer may find new opportunities to get back to the national side. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are both back in the squad after time off from the team. Deepak Chahar and Suryakumar Yadav will miss out due to injuries.
