Instagram down reactions: In the morning of May 25, popular social media platform Instagram faced nationwide outage that lasted as much as 3 hours. Many users faced difficulties logging in to the platform, and those who were able to login, were not able to access a refreshed feed, watch reels or send direct messages. The Instagram outage was confirmed by Downdetector which posted on Twitter and said, “User reports indicate Instagram is having problems since 12:40 AM EDT”. According to the reports, the outage began at around 9:45 AM and continued till 12:45 PM. While users could not access Instagram, many flocked to Twitter to post their reactions and memes. Some of these memes have now gone viral.

One Twitter user even dragged Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is looking to buy Twitter, into the Instagram fiasco and posted a meme involving him which said, "Ye log jinse mai anjaan hun, mai inka bhagwan kaise ban gaya."

Prabhat Ranjan tweeted, “Just created Twitter to see if Instagram is down. Hahaha!!”.

Another user wrote, “After almost 1 month away from instagram, today decided to break the streak and log back on. I think the universe is trying to tell me something”.

“I was thinking they have Banned or Blocked my instagram account,” added another.

Interestingly, this outage comes at a moment when Instagram just announced a complete revamp of its platform including introducing a new font. The issue of Instagram outage is not new as the platform has faced multiple outage incidents in the past few months across various regions across the world. The last time it went down was on April 19, when the platform became inaccessible during the night time for a couple of hours.
