WhatsApp profile photo will tell when friends, family talk about you- Hidden trick!

Who does not want to know when your friends, family or others talk about you. It is always good to stay informed about what others are up to vis a vis you. And when you can get via a notification, what could be better than that? This WhatsApp trick is likely coming soon. The messaging application is working on a new feature which will inform you when your friends or family are talking about you. With the help of this new WhatsApp feature, you will be able to know whenever you will be mentioned in chats of which you are a part of. You will be notified who has mentioned you in the chat, or replied, within these groups as their WhatsApp profile photo will appear in the notification.

It needs to be noted that the feature is out for iOS beta testers only at the moment. The information was provided by WABetaInfo in a report where it said, "The first feature of the year is finally here, and I’m sure it is very appreciated by some iOS beta testers: WhatsApp is now rolling out a very nice addition, that shows up profile photos in iOS system notifications!"

As per the information, WhatsApp has added the support to include profile photos in notifications when you receive new messages from chats and groups. This feature has been released to some beta testers only on iOS 15 since it uses iOS 15 APIs, WABetaInfo further informed.

However, you do not need to be sad if this feature is not available for your WhatsApp account as the application is planning to activate this feature for everyone at a later date when all glitches, if any are removed, during the beta phase. Currently the feature is in the testing mode, therefore it is possible that WhatsApp may experience some issues adding profile photos to specific notifications. It can be noted that earlier, WhatsApp users simply received a text only alert.

WhatsApp has been testing and rolling out several updates in the recent past and too for both the iOS and Android users. To name a few new updates and additions, it included voice messaging preview feature, setting self-destruction timers for chats, etc.
