The highlighted feature on the Redmi Smart TV models is the presence of Android TV 11, which is a first in the affordable smart TV segment. Android TV 11 is said to offer faster performance and a more secure experience. Along with that, Xiaomi also bundles its PatchWall 4 experience that recently debuted on the Mi TV 5 series. Being based on Android TV, there's support for Chromecast and access to all Google apps via Google Play. There's even access to Google Assistant but the Redmi Smart TV series misses out on the far-field mics from the Mi TV models.

The Redmi Smart TV 32 features a 32-inch display with HD resolution (720p) whereas the Redmi Smart TV 43 has a 43-inch display with Full HD resolution (1080p). Xiaomi says that based on user feedback, it has added more granular picture controls on these models. For audio, there's a 20W stereo speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual X surround sound.

Wireless connectivity options now include an upgraded Bluetooth 5 standard and dual-channel Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz). When it comes to port connectivity, the Redmi Smart TV series TV sports two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, an AV port, and a 3.5 mm jack. The TV also features ALLM for smoother streaming and gaming experiences.
