7th Pay Commission scale jobs: The Department of Posts has issued notification for India Post Office recruitment 2022 drive.

The Department of Posts, India has issued revised notification for the recruitment of Staff Car Drivers. As many as 29 vacant seats have been announced to be filled through this recruitment drive. Out of total vacant seats, 15 posts are available for General, 8 for OBC, 3 for SC, and 3 for EWS. Eligible candidates selected to the posts of Staff Car Driver positions will get a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission scale. The last date to apply for this recruitment drive is March 15, 2022. The candidate should have passed class 10th from a recognised Board or Institute.

The candidate must hold a valid driving license for light and heavy Motors vehicles.

Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle) is a must.

Experience of driving light and heavy Motor vehicle at least three years is also mandatory

Desirable qualification: Three years service as Home guard or Civil Volunteers.

Age limit:

The applicant's age must be between 18 years to 27 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5yrs for SC & ST, 3yrs for OBC.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a test as prescribed by Department to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles including knowledge of Motor Mechanisms and ability to remove minor defects in vehicle. Eligible applicants will be intimated about the date and venue of the tests in due course of time.

The selected candidates will get a salary of Level-2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC i.e, ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 .

A pdf will be opened. Read the notification carefully and download a copy of the application form attached with it.
