We all are guilty of binge-watching TV shows and series on Netflix. Working and studying from home for the past one year has only made us watch more and more shows and movies on the platform. While the platform kept us engaged and entertained as we went through the year, the never-ending stream of trailers as we browsed for new movies and shows acted as a constant deterrent in doing so.

Thankfully, there is an easy way, using which you can stop the trailers from playing on Netflix for good.

Before you panic, once you follow these steps, you will still be able to watch trailers on Netflix. But they won't start playing automatically as you hover over a show or movie.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: From a web browser, go to your Account page.

Step 2: Open the Profile & Parental Controls settings for the profile you want to manage.

Step 3: Change the Playback settings.

Step 4: Check or uncheck the option to Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices.
