Reliance JioMart: How to register, order from the new e-commerce site

JioMart has started delivering groceries across tier 1 and tier 2 cities in India.

Reliance Industries' e-commerce venture, JioMart, is live now. After testing the service in various parts of Mumbai for two week, JioMart has finally started delivering groceries in dozens of tier 1 and tier 2 cities across the country. The list, as per a TechCrunch report, includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bokaro, Bhatinda, Delhi, Dehradun, Chennai, Gurugram, Kolkata and Pune.

To check if JioMart is delivering in your area, all you need to do is head over to JioMart's new website, jiomart.com, and enter your PIN code in the window that appears on your screen. At the time of writing this article, JioMart is delivering groceries in Ghaziabad and in Noida.

If you want to order groceries via JioMart, here are the steps that you need to follow:

Step 1: Go to JioMart's new website and enter your PIN code.

Step 2: Once you know that JioMart is delivering in your area, tap on the Sign In button on the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Enter your mobile number and click on Use OTP button.

Step 4: In the following screen enter your email address, your name, password and phone number.

Step 5: Once you confirm your phone number, an OTP will be sent to you as an SMS. Enter the OTP and click Verify.

Now that you have registered on the new JioMart site, you can order groceries on Jio's e-retail platform. Here's how you can do that:

Step 1: Search for the item that you want to buy and click on Add to Cart Button.

Step 2: Once you are done adding items to your cart, tap on the Cart icon on the top right corner of the app. Here you can increase or decrease the quantity of the items that you have added to your cart. You can also continue shopping or delete an item from the cart.

Step 3: Once you have finalised the list, click on the Proceed button.

Step 4: Now enter your PIN code, name, phone number and your delivery address and click on Save Address option.

Step 5: Now, click on the Pay option to pay for your purchases. You can choose to pay via an e-wallet, debit or credit card, netbanking or via cash.

Step 6: Follow the steps on the screen to make the payment and voila, it's done!
