Samsung announces The First Look 2021 event for Jan 6
Samsung’s “The First Look 2021” event will begin at 9:30pm IST on Dec 6th.
Besides launching the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone series in January, the firm seems to be holding another event in the first week of the month. Samsung has now scheduled an event on January 6, 2021, wherein it will introduce new TVs and other display technologies.
As per the invite. “The First Look 2021” event will showcase ‘new vision for screens'. The invite also states that the event will see new products and technologies for the future of the display. In the image, we can see different monitors TVs, tablets, and even smartphones. While earlier this year during CES 2020 the company showcased QLED 8K TV with 88-inch and 150-inch Micro LED models. In 2021, it's expected to show new QLED 8K TVs in addition to some quantum Mini LED TVs in, 55, 65 76 and 85-inch screen sizes.

What's interesting is that 2021 is the same year in which Apple is planning to bring tablets and laptops, with Mini LED displays. And for what's worth, Apple has been using Samsung-made panels for its iPhones.

Talking about Galaxy S21, it looks like Samsung might go the Apple's way by removing the charger from the retail box. Amidst all the rumours, the firm has removed an advertisement post from Facebook in which it mocked Apple for removing the charger and earpods from the iPhone 12 box earlier this year. Speculation is that the handsets could launch in India later in January.
