Shinco is a Noida-based TV brand launched by Videotex International. Shinco offers smart TVs in the range of 24-inches and 65-inches. Shinco’s smart TVs are also quite affordable starting at ₹5,400 and going up to ₹48,000. Shinco manufacturers its TVs in the company’s facility in Greater Noida. Shinco recently launched a 43-inch 4K smart TV priced at ₹20,999.
You probably haven’t heard of Super Plastronics but this Noida-based company has been around for 30 years. It’s also a brand licensee for Kodak and Thomson TVs in India. It has three manufacturing plants in India located in Noida, Una, and Jammu.
Kodak and Thomson recently launched the Oath Pro series, priced at ₹24,999 onwards, and is available in three sizes – 43-inches, 55-inches, and 65-inches. These smart TVs come with Ultra-HD screens, HDR support and Dolby Vision format.
Onida is one of the oldest companies in India offering TVs. The company was started in 1981 in Mumbai, and it still offers smart TVs. Some include the 43-inch FHD LED smart TV priced at ₹22,999. Onida also launched the first Amazon Fire TV editions in India. The first Onida Fire TV was launched in December 2019.
Videocon is another old homegrown company which started in 1985 in Aurangabad by Nandlal Madhavlal Dhoot. Videocon has over 100 TV models ranging from 24-inches and 98-inches displays. These smart TVs offer AI-based features, UHD resolution, wireless display connectivity and power-saving features.
Panasonic is a Japanese brand but with a strong presence in the Indian market. Panasonic AVC India was established in 1996 to manufacture CRT TVs and LCDs. There are currently various smart LED TVs offered by Panasonic starting from ₹15,000.
