Xbox Series X, Series S India prices announced along side Xbox Game Pass cost and more

Just a day after introducing the Xbox Series S console, the firm today revealed the price of its more powerful Xbox Series X. The device will be hitting the shelves at $499 starting November 10 in the US, which is the same date when the Series S goes on sale. The console can, however, be pre-ordered from September 22. 

In India, the Series X is priced at ₹49,990 while the Series S costs rs 34,990. The launch date remains the same and so does the pre-order date (September 22).

Besides this, the firm announced the expansion of Xbox All Access to 12 countries. This offers gamers the new console (Series X or Series S) along with 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starting at $24.99 a month for Series S and $34.99 per month for 24 months for Xbox Series X.

Also confirmed was the arrival of EA Play to Xbox Game Pass. “To provide even more value, we are teaming up with Electronic Arts to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members with an EA Play membership at no additional cost starting this holiday,” stated the blog post.

This means Ultimate members can access more than 60 of EA titles like FIFA 20, Titanfall 2 and Need for Speed Heat and more. “And we’re continuing to add great games and experiences to Xbox Game Pass for PC. Game Pass for PC and the Xbox App will become generally available on September 17,” added the blog post.

It has been confirmed that both Xbox Series X and Series S owners will be able to play titles like Gears Tactics, Tetris Effect: Connected and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion on day one.
