Now you can snooze Google Calendar notifications on desktop

No one likes to join a meeting late. But if the notification arrives early, it’s easy to lose track of time. Now, Google is fixing that by giving users the ability to snooze Calendar notifications on the desktop.

Google today announced that now users can snooze Google Calendar desktop notifications directly from the notification itself.

Google Calendar’s notifications usually arrive hours before the event or the meeting. When snoozed, the notifications will reappear one minute before the scheduled meeting. Google says that users can also ‘re-snooze’ a notification for an additional five minutes as many times they would like until the meeting ends.

While the snoozed notification appears one minute before the scheduled meeting, Google says that users can change this timing in their Calendar settings.

Notably, this feature is turned on by default and it is available on the Chrome web browser only. Google has already started rolling out this feature. It will be available to all Google Workspace, G Suite Basic and Business customers in the coming three days.
