Fruit Ninja gets a sequel a decade after the first game and you can play it right now
Fruit Ninja 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store and comes with new skins, new characters and new modes along with some added features.
You remember the rather cathartic game where you could hack through fruits? Fruit Ninja is back, after a decade, with a sequel - Fruit Ninja 2. Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja 2 is now available on the Google Play Store.
Fruit Ninja 2 has been available as an early release in some select regions for a while now, according to reports, and the global launch update is out now. Fruit Ninja 2 comes with a user interface (UI) overhaul, economy balance tweaks, new characters, skins, arena environments and a Season Pass.
Like it was in the first game, the sequel will also have you slicing through fruits as they fly across the screen. All the modes that the original Fruit Ninja had, like the Arcade, Zen and Classic modes, are all back and there are some new modes as well - like a Minigame Shuffle and a rhythm-based mode called Fruitar Hero.
There are also some real-time multiplayer modes on the new game where you can take on players from around the world.
Fruit Ninja 2 also comes with new characters, new blades, new power-ups you can unlock and also a garden you can cultivate.
The new game can be downloaded for free off the Play Store.
