BenQ on Thursday launched a new wireless portable projector in India. The BenQ GS2 wireless projector costs 79,990 in India. It is available for purchase on Amazon India with a two-year warranty at a price of 59,990.

BenQ says that its newly launched portable projector is designed for family-oriented entertainment, learning and outdoor usage. It comes with splash-proof IPX2 certification. BenQ's newly launched portable projector is equipped with smart apps that enable users to stream content directly via the projector. It also features support for the Smart Control app, which the company says gives users quick and easy access of the projector using their smartphones without leaving the couch. It offers three hours of battery life with support for Bluetooth speakers.

Additionally, the GS2 portable wireless projector offers a 20,000-hour maintenance-free solid-state LED light source, which the company says delivers precise colors and razor-sharp clarity.

On the connectivity front, the GS2 wireless projector features support for Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB-Type C and USB Type-A ports. It offers HD-quality images with a brightness of 500 ANSI Lumens. It also has a built-in 4W Bluetooth speaker for audio and an adjustable hinge for easy, instant operation.

Apart from all these, the newly launched projector has parental controls, which make it easier for parents to ensure the safety of their kids. It also features LumiExpert ambient-sensing automatic brightness technology, which the company says optimises the viewing experience while safeguarding viewer comfort and vision health. GS2 also includes an eye proximity sensor to temporarily blank the projector to prevent shining into children's eyes.

“Consumers spending time at home are considering scaling up their media and entertainment consumption. Keeping in mind this rising consumer need, we at BenQ launched the GS2 which promises to enrich and enhance their visual experience,” Rajeev Singh, Managing Director - BenQ India & South Asia said on the occasion.
