Drishyam 2 is a Hindi-language crime thriller and a sequel to 2015's Drishyam which was a remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam thriller which goes by the same name. Drishyam was a mega-blockbuster and was praised for its suspense and storyline so the sequel had a lot to live up to. It not only matched the expectations, but exceeded them with an engaging story. The Ajay Devgn starrer also featured Tabu, Akshaye Khanna and a host of other actors.
The movie was a mega blockbuster hit, grossing over Rs. 342 crores worldwide, making it the 2nd highest grossing Hindi film of 2022. The film got a brilliant IMDB rating of 8.8 out of 10. Although Drishyam 2 was released on Amazon Prime Video earlier, it was on a rental basis which cost Rs. 199. However, it has now been released for the subscribers who can watch it with their Amazon Prime subscription.
