Intel, AMD based Acer Aspire 7 gaming laptop launched
The laptop comes in four variants, two of which are powered by Intel processors while the other two run on AMD Ryzen SoCs.
Acer is revamping its gaming laptop lineup with the Acer Aspire 7 in India. The laptop comes in four variants, two of which are powered by Intel processors while the other two run on AMD Ryzen SoCs. Weighing 2.15kgs, the starting price of the Aspire 7 is ₹54,990 and it can be purchased from Flipkart. Acer says that the new laptop is meant for casual gamers who also like to have the ‘portability' factor.
You get a 15.6-inch FHD resolution display with 100% sRGB color gamut. This comes in addition to Acer's own suite of Color Intelligence and ExaColor software. Although the bezels are not the narrowest in the Aspire 7, it still manages to get 81.61% screen to body ratio. It also features BluelightShield technology to keep your eye strain as low as possible over extended periods of use.

While two variants are powered by 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and i5 processors, the other two are powered by AMD Ryzen 3000 CPU. It supports up to 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD and up to 32GB DDR4 (SO-DIMM) RAM along with the Intel/AMD processors. These also come along with NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics processor. The Aspire 7 has HDMI and USB 3.2 (Type-C) ports as well as Wi-Fi 6 with MU-MIMO technology. And as for the battery, the casual gaming laptop is claimed to deliver battery life of up to up to 8.5 hours a day.
