HTC returns with two new mid-range smartphones

HTC is back with two new phones. The company has launched Desire 20 Pro and HTC U20 5G. The smartphones are currently available in Taiwan only.

First up is the Desire 20 Pro. The phone comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and punch-hole display. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It also supports microSD card for expandable storage. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

In the camera department, HTC Desire 20 Pro has four sensors on the back. The configuration consists of 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. There’s a 25-megapixel front-facing camera.

Next is the HTC U20 5G. It has a larger 6.8-inch full HD+ LCD with 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with 5G support as it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. It has 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage. It also supports microSD card for expandable storage. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via Quick Charge 4.0.

In the camera department, HTC U20 5G also has four rear cameras. The setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. There’s a 25-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s also a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Both the smartphones run on Android 10 out-of-the-box. Right now, there’s no word on the availability of the phones outside Taiwan.
