Realme 10 Pro+ 5G: Design

If you like a shimmery, glossy design, Realme 10 Pro+ 5G will definitely attract you. The phone comes with a hyperspace design and you will also be able to see the prism acceleration pattern on the phone from different angles. Adding to the overall beauty of the device is the classic twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera design on the back. The handset is lightweight (173 g) and thin (7.78 mm) making it very comfortable to hold, carry and use. However, the back panel does attract smudges and finger impressions, which can be avoided by using the case that comes along with the phone in the box.

The display of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G is what is being most talked about! The device gets a big 6.7-inch AMOLED display with slim bezels (2.33mm narrow chin bezel) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Whether it be binge-watching, scrolling to social media platforms, playing games, or simply browsing the internet, the experience has been fun. The display is smooth and feels flawless while scrolling. However, not everything that comes with the phone will please you! There are several preloaded apps and bloatware on the phone (which seem to be designed with the express purpose of annoying you).

Realme 10 Pro+ 5G: Performance

Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G Chipset, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G offers a great performance. I cannot recall a single moment when the phone struggled or complained about doing what has been asked for. From long-hour gaming sessions (Clash of Clans, Subway Surfers, Asphalt 9), to watching movies, and to extensively using the device on weekends, all seemed smooth and seamless without heating the device.

The phone runs on Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13 and offers several personalizations and customization options too. Also, adding to the binge-watching session or listening to the music was the audio performance. With the help of the stereo speakers, the sound was loud and clear.

Realme 10 Pro+ 5G: Cameras

The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G supports a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 108MP main camera along with 8MP and 2MP camera lenses. At the front, you get a 16MP selfie camera. I was amazed to see the camera performance of the 10 Pro+, especially when it comes to night photography. Daylight images are comparatively easy clicks and are managed well by the phone. The details were crisp and sharp and even the colours were almost accurate. While the night shots impressed me the most. The output of the pictures clicked in bare to minimal light was full of details and colour accuracy. However, the front camera did beautify the selfies. Check the camera samples here.

The 10 Pro+ 5G houses a 5000mAh battery and gets the support of the 67W SUPERVOOC charger. Upon extensive and continuous use the phone can fetch you around 5-6 hours of battery life, while with moderate usage the phone can breeze though a day with ease. Also, the phone charges fast- the battery can be fully juiced up from 10 to 100 percent in around 50 minutes.

Realme 10 Pro+ 5G: Verdict

With a price tag of Rs. 24999, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G not only offers a unique design but also offers curved AMOLED display, good battery life, and a fine rear camera performance. However, there are certain cons too like the performance of the selfie camera could have been raised a level, or two, higher, and the user interface of the device could have been improved by removing the bloatware and preinstalled apps. Still, it is worth your consideration.
