Sony has introduced the Xplod CDX-GT595 UI and the GT696 UI in-car CD receivers.

The GT595 connects directly to your iPod and allows you to control all its functions and even charge it. The receiver also supports formats such as MP3, WMA and AAC.

Sony has also come out with the MEX-DV1606U, a CD, VCD and DVD player. The MEX offers multi-channel playback and lets you play MPEG4 and DivX files. Its subwoofer delivers a sound of 1,100 W.
