Huawei Nova 3, Nova 3i smartphones with quad cameras launched in India: Price, specifications

Huawei’s latest Nova series boast AI features in terms of performance and photography. Here’s everything you need to know about Huawei’s new Nova 3 and Nova 3i phones.

Huawei on Thursday launched its Nova smartphone series in India. The company launched two smartphones - Nova 3 and Nova 3i.

Huawei Nova 3 is priced at ₹34,999 while Nova 3i will retail at ₹20,990. Huawei Nova 3 will go on sale starting August 23 while Nova 3i will be available from August 7. Both phones come in two colour options of iris purple and black.

The smartphones are available for pre-booking on Amazon India with a cashback offer of ₹1,000.

Huawei Nova 3 specifications
Huawei Nova 3 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by Kirin 970 octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

In the photography department, Huawei Nova 3 sports a 16-megapixel RGB sensor and 24-megapixel monochrome dual-camera setup at the rear. The smartphone houses a dual-camera setup at the front as well comprising of a 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor.

On the software front, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 layered on top. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,750mAh battery along with support for fast charge via a USB Type-C port.

Huawei Nova 3i specifications
Huawei Nova 3i also has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 81% screen-to-body ratio and a dual 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone runs Kirin 710 processor under its hood which is the company's first chipset built on 12nm manufacturing process.

The phone packs a 3,340mAh battery, and comes with dual 4G VoLTE support.

In terms of storage the smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

For photography, it also has a quad-cameta setup. At the rear there's a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras. Up front there's a 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel combination.
