After previewing their latest gaming device, the PlayStation Move, Sony has also announced the launch details of the device. Here's what to expect — or not — from Sony's latest baby.

What's it all about
A motion-sensing device which tracks the movement of the wand with the help of a handheld motion controller and a camera (called the PlayStation Eye).

The motion controller has an orb on its head. When it is switched on, it can be tracked by the PlayStation Eye. Based on various sensors inside the controller, it can determine the position and movement of the person holding it.

What do I pay for it
Sony has also announced the prices for different bundles that you can opt for — the complete PlayStation Move Sports Champions bundle with the PlayStation Eye, Move and the game would be $99.99 (approx 4,700), while the Move controller alone would be $49.99 (approx 2,400).

The optional navigation controller costs $29.99 (approx 1,400). If you don't have a PS3, you can get a new console bundle that has everything for $399.99 (approx 19,000).

Two more accessories — the charging station and the shooting attachment — will cost $29.99 (approx 1,400) and $19.99 (approx 1,000) respectively.

When's it hitting the stores
PlayStation Move is slated for launch in most Asian markets on September 15, 2010.

What are the games that I can play on the PS Move?
You can play two types of games on the PS Move.

Move-featured games: Are those that can be played without the Move controller. These include titles like LittleBigPlanet 2 and The Sly Collection.

Move required games: Are those that can only be played with the Move controller. These include TV Superstars and The Shoot.

What if I already have a PS, will I still have to buy another machine?
No! As mentioned earlier, the PS Move is meant to work with your PS3.

Can I do anything apart from gaming?
Yes. The only addition to the PS3 device is the Move controller. So you can still watch movies, listen to music and flip through old photos.

What's the final verdict?
Sony says PSMove lets you use true-to-life movements, accurately tracks your actions, and then turns them into precise on screen movements.

The PSMove will also give you physical feedback, like vibrations, similar to the Dual Shock controllers. Even though PS3 was not revolutionary; a lot depends on the pricing of the PS Move and the titles that are up for sale.
