Samsung today launched its rotating smart TV ‘The Sero' in India. The Sero can be rotated between horizontal and vertical orientations. This is the latest addition to Samsung's lineup of lifestyle TVs. It has previously launched The Frame and The Serif TVs.

Samsung is selling The Sero exclusively in Reliance Digital stores. It is priced at 1,24,990, and it comes with cashback and EMI options. Reliance Digital is also offering gift vouchers from Ajio and Reliance Trends on The Sero. Samsung is offering The Sero with a 10-year no screen burn-in warranty, one-year comprehensive warranty, and a one-year additional warranty on the panel.

The Sero has a 43-inch QLED 4K display with a navy blue bezel design. The smart TV uses AI to upscale content to 4K resolution, Samsung said in a release. It also has an Ambient Mode+ that can be customised to display information or blend the TV with its surroundings. The rotating TV is equipped with 4.1ch 60W front firing speakers. It also comes with smart features such as Adaptive Picture, Responsive UI, Tap View technology, and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA).

The name of the TV has been taken from the Korean word ‘Sero' which means vertical. It can be used in both horizontal and vertical positions. Samsung says that The Sero is geared towards the younger social media generation who might want to have the smartphone experience on a smart TV. Speaking of which, The Sero is optimised for social media content, streaming services and gaming as well.
