Barack Obama is Michelle Obama's first guest in her Spotify podcast

Spotify last week announced the launch of ‘The Michelle Obama Podcast’ that will premiere on July 29. Spotify has now revealed the episode list for the podcast series and the first special guest will be the former US president Barack Obama.

The Michelle Obama Podcast will have a total of nine episodes in the series. Each episode will feature a guest with different topics. The first episode featuring Barack Obama will focus on the relationship with communities. The Obamas will also offer an “intimate conversation” and talk about life after the White House.

“Today, we’re gonna start by discussing one of those relationships that can take some time to figure out. That’s our relationship to our communities and to our country. Sometimes this relationship might be a source of fulfillment or meaning or joy. Other times it might provoke questions that we don’t quite know the answer to. What we’re really talking about is our place in this world. How we feel about it and what we can do with the power we have,” reads a transcript from the podcast’s first episode.

The podcast will be available to all Spotify users including those without a premium subscription. The Michelle Obama Podcast is the first product from Spotify’s multi-year partnership with Higher Ground.
