Reliance Jio's official website suffered an outage shortly after JioPhone 2 went on flash sale at 12PM. The website on its check out page said, "Page Under Maintenance. We will be back shortly. Thank you for your patience." The website is now up and is allowing users to place the order.

Priced at ₹2,999, Reliance JioPhone 2 has a 6.09cm (2.4 inch) TFT display with QVGA (320x 240 pixels) resolution. While the screen size hasn't changed, it now supports landscape mode for improved multimedia experience.
Running on KaiOS, JioPhone 2 relies on a 1GHz dual-core processor (chipset unspecified) along with 512MB of RAM for performance. It has 4GB ROM and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card.
JioPhone 2 sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The camera also comes with video recording support. In terms of connectivity, JioPhone 2 supports dual SIM, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 with BLE, GPS, and NFC. A 2,000mAh battery powers the phone.
Reliance JioPhone 2: Data plans
Reliance JioPhones come with three data plans. Under ₹49 plan, Reliance Jio offers 1GB of data with 28 days of validity. This also includes unlimited data, subscription to Jio applications, and free video calls. Under ₹99 and ₹153 plans, Reliance Jio offers 14GB of data and 42GB of data respectively. Both the plans have 28 days of validity.
