The Samsung virtual MWC 2021 event will be available for everyone to live stream globally. This MWC 2021 event is scheduled to take place at 19:15 pm CET tonight. Indian viewers can tune in at 10:45 pm IST to catch the event live. Samsung will live stream its virtual MWC 2021 event through its official YouTube channel and also the Samsung Newsroom website. At the same time, viewers can also watch the Mobile World Congress event from it official website.
Samsung in its event announcement mentioned that it will also be “unveiling its vision for the future of smartwatches”. This platform will also create opportunities for developers and users for “a new era of smartwatch experiences.” Samsung will also share its latest security enhancements and innovations for user protection. The event poster also features a Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Flip and a Galaxy smartphone hinting at the possibility of new device launches. There’s also a picture of Samsung Knox, its security platform.
We’re expecting a couple of announcements by Samsung at MWC 2021 but the highlight could be a new smartwatch. There have been rumours about the Galaxy Watch 4 and more importantly that it will be the first Samsung smartwatch to drop the Tizen OS. The new Samsung smartwatch will run Google’s Wear OS coupled with Tizen OS features. This would be a result of Samsung and Google working together for the customised software. Samsung said the next Galaxy Watch will support Google Play Store apps including Google Maps, Gmail, and YouTube. The Galaxy Watch 4 may not launch at this event but the announcement of the new software could happen tonight.
