Microsoft has announced the quarterly results for the second quarter for the financial year 2021. In the results, the company also announced that its game streaming service, Xbox Game Pass, had acquired 18 million subscribers. The company also announced that its Xbox Live online gaming service had garnered more than 100 million monthly active users.

As far as the revenue is concerned, the company said that the Xbox content and services revenue increased by a whopping 40% in this quarter at the rate of 38% year-on-year.

Apart from this, the company also announced that its revenue increased 17% to $43.1 billion and that its net income operating increased by 33% to $15.5.

As far as the specific services are concerned, Microsoft said that its Windows OEM revenue increased by 1% while its Windows Commercial products and cloud services revenue increased 10%, which is up 8% in constant currency. The company also said that its Surface revenue increased 3%, which is up 1% in constant currency and that its search advertising revenue excluding traffic acquisition costs increased by 2%.
