Fujifilm India launches the Square SQ1, priced at ₹10,999
The Square SQ1 is available in three colours, Terracotta Orange, Glacier Blue and Chalk White, and will be available on Amazon and Flipkart both from September 24.
Fujifilm India has announced the launch of its instax Square SQ1 Instant Camera. This new addition to Fujifilm's instant camera range is an analog, square camera and it creates square format instant prints that are 1.5 times the size of its Instax mini counterparts. The Instax Square SQ1 comes with a minimalist, user-friendly square design that has all the key features such as automatic exposure and the one-touch selfie mode.
The main feature of the Square SQ1 is the automatic exposure. This function automatically senses the level of ambient light when the shutter button is pressed, and optimises the shutter speed and flash output according to lighting conditions.
This feature allows even novice Instax users to take photos that are automatically properly exposed regardless of conditions, producing clearer and more vibrant instant prints on the spot.

Along with its built-in selfie mirror, Fujifilm says that Instax Square SQ1's one-touch selfie mode is designed specifically for selfies and close-up shots, setting the best focus and exposure for the shot by changing the position of the lens when activated (by simply twisting the lens after powering the camera on). This is the same mechanism we spotted (and reviewed) on the Instax Mini 11.
Additionally, also accompanying the launch of the Instax Square SQ1 are two new Instax instant film varieties - the Instax Square Rainbow film and Instax Square Monochrome film.
The Instax Square SQ1 will be available in Terracotta Orange, Glacier Blue, and Chalk White and you can book them from September 24 on Amazon and Flipkart both for ₹10,999.
