From Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe to several other online payment making applications, whichever app you use, you need to follow certain safety tips to protect yourself from digital frauds. In order to stay alert and help its account holders, the State Bank of India (SBI) has shared certain safety tips to follow. An SBI account holder should be aware of online payments frauds and this is what needs to be done- check tips here. But before that it can be known that the SBI keeps on tweeting safety tips over its official Twitter handle.

"Asked to Share Your PIN? #YehWrongNumberHai. Always remember that you should never share your PIN with anyone. Stay Alert and #SafeWithSBI," SBI tweeted. While another tweet read, "Always remember to check the UPI ID while making transactions to ensure it is an official one. Stay Alert & #SafeWithSBI."

Always remember to check the UPI ID while making transactions to ensure it is an official one.

Step 2:

Always remember that you should never share your PIN with anyone. It can be noted that UPI PIN is required only for transfer of money and not for receiving.

Step 3:

The scanner should preferably be used for fund transfer.

Step 4:

Do not seek resolution from other than official sources.

Step 5:

Use App's help section for any payment or technical issue and in case of any discrepancy seek resolution through Bank's Complaint Resolution portal.
