Realme has officially confirmed that the GT 2 Series special event will be hosted on December 20 at 9 AM GMT.
Realme has officially confirmed that the GT 2 Series special event will be hosted on December 20 at 9 AM GMT. The Chinese company is expected to unveil the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone during the event. Realme has already announced its intent to launch its flagship phone powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on December 20. However, special features of the phone seem to have leaked.
Though the exact details of the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone are yet to be revealed, the Realme GT 2 Pro leaks, is expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to offer up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will support cutting-edge 5G, AI, gaming, camera, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies.
The new Realme phone is speculated to make its debut in India in early 2022. The smartphone will be Realme's most premium flagship and also the company's first phone to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Check the expected price of Realme GT 2 Pro here
Realme GT 2 Pro expected price
Realme GT 2 Pro price is expected to be set at CNY 4,000 i.e, around Rs. 47,600. The phone is also rumoured to feature a special variant which can be priced at CNY 5,000 i.e., roughly Rs. 59,500.
The Realme UK has shared a teaser image to announce the Realme GT 2 Series special event through a tweet. The event will be held virtually over Facebook and YouTube at 9 am GMT (2:30 pm IST) on December 20.
The most recent flagship under the Realme GT series, Realme GT 5G was launched in June. The phone has a Super AMOLED, 120Hz panel that offers 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The phone feature Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G.
