Amazon Great Indian Sale: Up to 35% discount on smartphones, 80% off on accessories

Here’s what customers can expect from Amazon’s upcoming Great Indian sale, starting January 21.

Amazon India has announced a new online sale titled 'Amazon Great Indian Sale'. The four-day-long online sale will kick off on January 21.

The e-commerce company is giving 12 hours early access to its Prime customers starting 12 noon on January 20. As expected, Amazon India is offering a bunch of deals across 160 million products across hundreds of categories.

Amazon has promised big discounts on products from top smartphone brands including Apple, OnePlus, Samsung, and the company-backed 10.or. Other consumer electronics companies such as Philips, LG, Micromax, TCL, HP and Lenovo are also going to participate in the online.

Customers can expect special discounts on Amazon's Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Paperwhite Starter Pack, Fire TV Stick, eBooks and more.

Apart from usual discounts, Amazon is now offering cashback schemes as well. Customers who shop with Amazon Pay balance will be eligible for an extra 10% cashback up to ₹200, on all the purchases above ₹250. HDFC Bank customers will be eligible an additional cashback of 10% when they pay with debit and credit card and on EMI.

Under the 'sneak peek' section on its website, the company has hinted at big deals on smartphones such as Honor 6X, Samsung On5 Pro, Moto G5S Plus, LG Q6, Lenovo K8 Note, Intex Cloud C1, Google Pixel XL, Micromax Canvas Infinity and Nubia M2. Amazon is also going to give up to 80% discount on accessories.

Apart from discounts up to 35% on smartphones, Amazon is offering no cost EMI option, exchange offers and additional 10% cashback via HDFC credit and debit cards.
