CES 2023 is just about to begin and prior to that, Samsung has taken off the wraps from its 2023 range of premium smart TVs. Samsung has updated its Neo QLED range of TVs along with the new OLED TVs and Micro LED TVs. The company also unveiled a new smart refrigerator with a 32-inch display that serves as a communication and entertainment hub. The new TVs brings substantial upgrades over the 2022 models.

Samsung Neo QLED TVs

The Neo QLED 4K and 8K TVs are using Samsung's advanced Neural Quantum Processor that allows for 14-bit processing and AI upscaling. This enables features such as Shape Adaptive Light control and Real Depth Enhancer Pro for a 3D picture effect. The TVs rely on a Mini LED backlit technology for illumination. The TVs also come with a new Auto HDR Remastering tech that uses AI to analyze and apply real-time HDR effects on SDR content on a scene-by-scene basis. Samsung is also introducing support for Matter on these TVs, which allows all Matter supported smart home appliances to work seamlessly with this Samsung TV.

Micro LED and OLED TVs

The 2023 Micro LED lineup of TVs offers new models ranging from 50 to 140-inches. The modular nature allows users to customise the viewing frame in the desired shape, ratio and size. Plus, it lacks any kinds of bezels.

Then there's the OLED TV lineup from Samsung. The 2023 OLED lineup is now available in 55, 65 and 77-inch variants. Samsung OLED TVs are using the Quantum Dot technology and Neural Quantum Processors from the Samsung Neo QLED TVs to retain OLED's core strengths while simultaneously improving brightness and color representation. The OLED TVs get 144Hz refresh rate, Samsung's Smart Gaming Hub, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification.

Samsung TV Plus is now also present on all its Smart TVs to offer free ad-supported content from live channels.

Other than the TVs, Samsung also revealed updated projectors, including the new “The Premiere 8K” short-throw projector, and the Freestyle with Smart EDGE Blending.
