Hitman Absolution to appear in November

Hitman Absolution will be the first Hitman game since Hitman: Blood Money in 2005, and sees Agent 47 on the run from his parent organization, the secretive International Contracts Agency.

Where previous games in the series encouraged players to think creatively in order to complete each mission undetected, Absolution understands some players will prefer to tackle objectives head on.

Since Hitman: Blood Money, game director Rasmus Hojengaard has become involved in 2013's Crysis 3, and is replaced by art director Tore Blystad for Hitman's latest outing.

Studio co-founder and Blood Money gameplay director Pete Fleckenstein has returned to previous company Roto-Moto for ambitious WWII game Heroes & Generals, currently in beta on PC.

The series also served to elevate the profile of composer Jesper Kyd, who now soundtracks the Assassin's Creed series and has the upcoming Darksiders II in the works.
