Microsoft is hosting a special event today wherein it is expected to announce ‘what’s next for Windows.’ If reports and leaks are any indication, it is expected to be Windows 11. Now, Microsoft hasn’t confirmed anything yet. However, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, back at the company’s Microsoft Build developer conference, had said that the company plans to announce the next version of Windows. He had also said that this would be “one of the most significant updates of Windows of the past decade.” In addition to that, Microsoft has also confirmed that it will be ending support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. The list includes all versions of Windows 10, that is, Windows 10 Home Pro and the Pro versions of Education and Workstations. This means that Microsoft will not be releasing any bug fixes or security updates to its operating system post the mentioned time period. This strengthens the theory that Windows 11 is indeed coming.
