OnePlus 3 specifications leaked in a benchmark listing
OnePlus flagship for 2016 spotted in a benchmark listing. Though will not be released on April 7.
OnePlus has been working on its 2016 flagship model for quite a while now. CEO Pete Lau, in an interview, said the OnePlus 3 is due in June and that it will be the most "worthwhile" smartphone to buy this year.
Now a new report by GizmoChina has posted a screenshot of an Antutu benchmark listing revealing hardware and specifications of the upcoming flagship.
The Antutu listing shows a handset with model number A3000, featuring a Full-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 bundled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. In terms of cameras, the device is expected to get a 16-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel selfie cam.
Going by the report, the OnePlus 3 appears just like you would expect of a flagship smartphone. Though it seems it might get an upgrade in its base storage from the usual 16 GB storage to 32 GB, as the leaked benchmark listing suggests 32GB of built-in storage. Currently, OnePlus has been providing options for 16 GB and 64 GB storage variants.
The report by GizmoChina further adds that Oneplus has confirmed that 'the event on April 7 is not for the release of the OnePlus 3', as opposed to earlier reports.

We expect the OnePlus 3 to get a significant overhaul in terms of its design. The company's CEO Pete Lau clearly expressed his obsession with the phone's design - to the extent that he spent over three months just to get that perfect curve on OnePlus 3's back.
"It needs to feel good in the hand," he said.
