OxygenOS Open Beta update for OnePlus 5, 5T announced: Here are top features
The latest update also adds iPhone X-like gestures for OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus has rolled out new OxygenOS Open Beta update for its OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones.
OxygenOS Open Beta 5 and Open Beta 3 come with new gestures, bug fixes and improvements for the devices. This update also removes Clipboard app from the smartphones. OnePlus was accused of sending identifiable data to its servers in China through the Clipboard app.
Discovered by a French security researcher, the Clipboard app featured keywords which revealed that the company is sending data without the user's permission.
OnePlus denied these claims saying that no such activity was happening in OxygenOS. In its forum, OnePlus adds that the Clipboard function has been removed based on the user feedback received.

OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T users also get a new Android security patch, and a new SMS categorization which is for users in India only. This function auto-sorts SMSes into categories.
Exclusive to OnePlus 5T, new navigation gestures have been added with this update. These gestures are said to be iPhone X-like, and can be activated by disabling the nav bar from Settings.
These updates have been rolled out in the OxygenOS Open Beta program. If you are already a member, then you should receive this as an OTA update. For those willing to join can do so by flashing your smartphone, and installing the full ROM which can be downloaded here.
